Elizabeth Ann Bloomer Warren Ford or other known as Betty Ford died today(July 8, 2011). Betty served as the first lady of the late President of the United States, President Gerard R. Ford from 1974 to 1977. She was the oldest surviving former occupant of White House. Due too poor health and increasing frailty from her operations in August 2006 and April 27 for blood clots in her legs caused her to largely curtail her public life.
